So what are the best tyres for the Suzuki Hayabusa ?
Before reading the results please note the following.
These results are subjective and should NOT to be taken as
100% fact but an indication of which is the best tyre to use.
Also note that tyres and tire are the same thing just spelt differently.

Survey Analysis

As you see the results are very clear for some and a bit obscure (whether its due to 'mischief' or otherwise who knows) for others.

AVON AZARO SP Pro-Series AV49/AV50

Obviously not a commonly used tyre, could be because they are one of the newer released models.  Strangely enough only 3 people scored these tyres in all 3 categories.  The rest where not allocated in any particular noticeable pattern.

Bridgestone BT56 J-Spec OEM
The most obvious result, the original BT56s are clearly the longest lasting tyre.
They are also pretty good when it comes to sporty riding.
Hence the expected best compromise win as well.  It is interesting that the vast majority of those who said the BT56 lasted longest voted the BT010 better handling tyre. 15 scored them in all 3 categories.

Bridgestone BT010 Battlax
These where obviously meant to be a more sports orientated tyre and many agreed.  Most also believed that they where the best compromise tyre but not the longest lasting.  8 scored them in all 3 categories.  Scoring an equal best handling tyre indicates its a pretty good choice.

Dunlop D207
This tyre has been available for a few years and obviously not a popular choice.  Probably because its not a very good choice when compared to others.  Interesting stat that most D207 users have tried at least 2 other tyres listed.
4 scored them in all 3 categories.  Get them if they are bargain priced ?

Dunlop D208
This is the replacement of the 207 and many believe that its a pretty good handling tyre.  Only 3 scored them in all 3 categories.  Most who have tried these have also tried at least 2 others listed here. I guess I can conclude that they are OK but there are better choices.  If the price is right...

Michelin Pilot Sport HPX
Very good tyres.  However it is interesting that not many think it is a good compromise considering that many believe that it lasts pretty well.  Equal first place for handling honours and runner up for longevity.  7 scored them in all 3 categories.

Pirelli Diablo
I think it very clear that these are are the best to get for handling.  Although it didn't win the most votes you must remember that I added into the survey 1 week and a bit late.  So based on this I reckon that if I had it from the start of the survey it would definitely win the category.  Only 2 scored them in all 3 categories.

Conclusion
Based on the results of this survey.

The best tyre for longevity are :
Bridgestone BT56 J-Spec OEM
But these will do just fine :
Michelin Pilot Sport HPX

The best tyre for handling are :
Pirelli Diablo
But these will do just fine :
Bridgestone BT56 J-Spec OEM
Bridgestone BT010 Battlax
Michelin Pilot Sport HPX

The best tyre for compromise are :
Bridgestone BT56 J-Spec OEM
But these will do just fine :
Bridgestone BT010 Battlax
Michelin Pilot Sport HPX
