This page shows some screenshots from the latest Garmin Nuvi portable GPS systems. They show the features that I wrote about on the review pages.  Note that these screens where taken on different days and different trips - so they will not match up.

This screen above shows the new version two screen trip computer! The round circle shows the current speed you are travelling. On some higher end units it shows graphic compass direction. When the Ecoroute data is completed it also shows you an approximate fuel cost. Once again if a route has been programmed the information displayed will change otherwise this is what you will see. Note that the Max speed figure is reset separately.

The screen above shows the Garmin's new ecoroute program in action. Press the leaf icon on the main map screen to see this statistics. The higher the numbers the better.

When you have finished your trip you can see what the approximate fuel consumption or economy you where getting.  Remember that the information displayed is not entirely accurate but it does give you a reminder of how much money and petrol you are using.  Based on my experience the figures are -10% or so different to real life.

Once again if there is enough interest - I'll upload some more later.
